NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Katie Shorter of Wilmington University has been selected the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 2.

Shorter, a 6-2 sophomore middle hitter from Pasadena, Md., averaged 2.67 kills per-set at a .600 percentage, along with 1.5 blocks per-set in a 2-0 week for the Wildcats. She amassed 10 kills with no errors, one solo block and five block assists in a win over Goldey-Beacom and added six kills on 10 attempts and three blocks against Post.
