GEORGIAN COURT'S ARSENAULT NAMED VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

NEW HAVEN, CT - Brandi Arsenault of Georgian Court University
has been named the Central
Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Volleyball Player of the
Week for the week ending Sunday, Nov. 15. Susan McDonough of
Caldwell College was the pick for Rookie of the Week.
Arsenault, a 5-11 freshman outside hitter from Pine Beach, NJ, was named the CACC Tournament MVP after helping lead the Lions to their fourth consecutive conference championship. She averaged 2.2 kills at a .360 hitting percentage in three tournament games, including nine kills at a .280 percentage in the championship match.
McDonough, a 5-9 freshman outside hitter from Saline, MI, averaged 3.71 kills and 3.14 digs per-set in two CACC Tournament matches. She hit for a .246 attack percentage and was named to the All-Tournament team.
CACC Notes
Caldwell - The Cougars lost to Philadelphia in the semifinals of the CACC Tournament for the second year in a row. Caldwell set program records for victories in a season (21) and longest winning streak (10) with a 3-1 win over Nyack in the CACC quarterfinals on Tuesday.
Philadelphia - The Lady Rams went 2-1 this week and advanced all
the way to the CACC Tournament Championship match before falling to
Georgian Court, 3-1. The team earned 3-0 victories against Holy
Family (11/10) and Caldwell College (11/13) in the first two rounds
of the tournament.
