TOBIASON RESIGNS AS GOLDEY-BEACOM VOLLEYBALL COACH

WILMINGTON, DE-Goldey-Beacom College Director of Athletics Chris Morgan has announced the resignation of Head Volleyball Coach Michele Tobiason.

A 2002 GBC graduate, Tobiason's 3-year coaching record was 43-45 overall, 35-21 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference and 3-2 in the postseason. Her teams won the 2005 CACC Tournament Championship and qualified for the NCAA Northeast Region Tournament, while the 2006 team reached the CACC semifinals.

"We are thankful to Michele for her contributions to the College and our volleyball program. We wish her well as she pursues other opportunities," stated Morgan.
