KRAUSS EARNS VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK ACCOLADES

NEW HAVEN, CT - Emily Krauss, a junior at Philadelphia University, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Volleyball Player of the Week for the weed ending Sunday, Oct. 29. Fellow Ram Celena Rendon is the selection for Rookie of the Week.

Krauss, an outside hitter from Stormville, NY, averaged 4.00 kills and 3.64 digs per-game in a 3-1 week. She helped the Rams to a key victory over Bloomfield with 22 kills, including only five errors, and 15 digs. She added a match-high 13 kills in a victory over USP.

Krauss has been named the Player of the Week four times this season.

Rendon, a freshman outside hitter from San Antonio, TX, posted averages of 2.64 kills and 3.57 digs per-game in a 3-1 week for the Rams. She had 12 kills and 18 digs against Kutztown.

Honorable Mention

Tadj Williams, Post (Sr., Albany, NY) - Averaged 6.0 kills per-game in a 2-0 week for the Eagles.

CACC Notes

USP - Claire Tauschek became just the third USP volleyball player to record 1,000 career digs with her 30-dig effort vs. Georgian Court. Tauschek moved into second place on the Devils' all-time dig list with a combined 40 digs on Saturday against Philadelphia University and Concordia with 1,066 for her career.
