PREGOWSKA TABBED CACC VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

NEW HAVEN, CT - Freshman Angieszka Pregowska of New Jersey Institute of Technology has been tabbed Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for the period of September 26-October 2. Billeny Rivera of Georgian Court has been selected as the conference Rookie of the Week.

Pregowska, a Bridgewater, NJ, product, averaged 6.00 kills and 3.46 digs per-game last week for the Highlanders. She posted 28 kills against both Philadelphia and Wilmington and notched 20 digs in two matches. She came up with 21 digs against Wilmington and 20 in the Bloomfield match. She also added 0.62 service aces per-game for the week. Pregowska was named CACC Rookie of the Week on September 12.

Rivera, a freshman, enjoyed a solid week for GCU, as she averaged 3.20 kills and 3.00 digs per-game in four matches. Rivera, who is from Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, set career-highs in kills (15), aces (5) and digs (14) in a 3-2 win over USP on Saturday.
