WILLIAMS AND SILVEIRA NAMED CACC VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

NEW HAVEN, CT - Tadj Williams of Post University and Juruena Silveira of Bloomfield College, have been named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Volleyball Players of the Week for the period of Oct. 31 to Nov. 7. Bloomfield's Celest Lindsey has been honored as the CACC Rookie of the week.

Williams, a junior outside hitter from Albany, NY, averaged 5.36 kills, 4.30 digs and 0.64 blocks per-game for the Eagles in a 2-1 week. Silveira posted 5.33 kills, 4.58 digs and 0.42 blocks per-game during a 3-0 week for the Deacons.

Williams had 25 kills and 15 digs against Wilmington and Silveira notched 34 kills and 28 digs against Georgian Court.

Lindsey helped lead the Deacons to a 3-0 week with averages of 3.67 kills per-game and 1.50 blocks per-game. The freshman from Cincinnati, OH, recorded 19 kills and five blocks against Post. She also had a .360 hitting percentage for the week.
