PHILADELPHIA, PA USP Women's Volleyball player Emily Roth (Dallastown High School/York, PA) was named today to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Region Team as an Honorable Mention Selection for the Northeast Region.

This is the latest in a series of honors for the senior outside hitter from York, Pennsylvania. Earlier this month, Roth was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Year and earned CACC All-Tournament Team honors for performance in leading the Devils to the CACC Championship game.

During the season, Emily garnered CACC Player of the Week honors four times and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player of the Week honors twice. In the most recent CACC statistics report, Roth ranked second in the league in hitting percentage (.335); kills/game (5.16) and overall kills (598). Roth also ranked fifth in total digs (478) and eighth in digs/game (4.12). Emily also ranks ninth nationally in Division II for kills/game.

The former Dallastown High School athlete currently led the Devils this year to their best record in school history, 19-13.
