ROTH NAMED CACC VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR FOURTH TIME

NEW HAVEN, CT - Emily Roth of the University of Sciences in Philadelphia has been named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for the period of October 24-30. Kinikia Collier of Dominican College has been selected as the conference Rookie of the Week.

Roth, who earns player of the week honors for the fourth time this season, posted averages of 6.10 kills and 5.00 digs per-game in a 2-1 week for the Devils. The senior outside hitter from York, PA,, notched a school-record 37 kills to go with 18 digs in a 3-1 decision over Assumption on Saturday. She added 13 kills and 20 digs against Holy Family and owned a .412 hitting percentage for the week.

Roth was named ECAC Player of the Week last week in addition to earning CACC honors.

Collier, a freshman outside hitter from Garnerville, NY, averaged 5.0 kills and 5.5 digs per-game in a 1-0 week for the Chargers. She posted a career-high 20 kills in a 3-1 victory over Nyack College on Tuesday.

Collier is the first Charger to earn a volleyball weekly honor this season.
