Millersville Shuts Down Goldey-Beacom Again, 3-0

MILLERSVILLE, PA ? Jennie Rohrbaugh led three players in double-digit kills with 15 as Millersville University defeated Goldey-Beacom for the second time in a week, 3-0, in non-conference volleyball action Thursday night at Pucillo Gymnasium.

Five players had two kills each for the Lightning (1-4), who dropped game one 30-11, game two 30-12, and game three 30-19.

Jana Kale had 11 kills and seven digs and Caitlin LeBlanc posted 10 kills and six digs for the Marauders, who posted an outstanding hitting percentage of .348 to improve to 6-1 with the win.

The Lightning return to action this Saturday when they take on Teikyo Post College at 1 p.m. and Dominican College at 5 p.m.
