Waterbury, CT-The Post University women's volleyball team has been selected to participate and host the 2004 Division Two Women's Volleyball Eastern College Athletic Conference Tournament. This is the third consecutive year Post will be in the tourney and second in a row that the school will host the event.

Post, 29-11, will be seeded fourth and play Saturday, November 20 at noon versus in-state rival University of Bridgeport (18-9). The other semi-final will pit the College of Saint Rose, last year's ECAC Champion against Adelphi University. The championship match will follow the second semi.

"We're honored to continue our relationship with the Eastern College Athletic Conference and their postseason tournaments," said Associate Vice President for Athletics Dan Mara. "It is not only special to participate, but also we are privileged to host."

"It will be nice for our seniors to get to play at home one more time," said head Coach Dawn Spellman. "We hope to do our school proud."

The Eagles have won a record 29 games this year and just missed the NCAA Tournament.
