Lady Eagles Advances to CACC Finals
Blauvelt, NY ? (11/11/04) Second seeded Post University (29-10) defeated the #6 seeded Dominican College (9-22), 3-0 in the semi-finals of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Volleyball Tournament at the Hennessy Center on the campus of Dominican College this evening.
Sophomore Tadj Williams (Albany, NY) led all attackers with 20 kills and had 13 digs. Fellow Eagle Jennifer Giarratano (Seymour, CT) added 11 kills and 12 digs, while senior Courtney McGinnis (Oxford, CT) had 33 assists. respectively.
For the Lady Chargers, senior captain Stephanie Attinelly
(Croton On Hudson, NY) led the team with 9 kills and had 10 digs. Sophomore Amy Husband (Tarrytown, NY) 8 kills, while junior setter Megan Earl (Greenville, NY) had 21 assists.
The victory advances the Lady Eagles to the finals which will be held at Dominican College tomorrow afternoon at noon.
