CACC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

KRISTIN WIEDEMAN, WILMINGTON (So, OH, 5-8, Ashland, Va.) Swung to a .386 attack percentage and averaged 3.40 kills and 4.50 digs per game, with two double-doubles, in a 3-0 week for the Wildcats. Had 14 kills and a team-season high 26 digs in a four-game victory over second-place Post.

HONOR ROLL

ADRIENNE MELVIN, GOLDEY-BEACOM (So, OH, 5-8, Ashland, Va.) Recorded a triple-double with 19 kills, 20 assist and 22 digs in a victory over Dominican. It was her only action of the Lightning?s 2-0 week.

COURTNEY McGINNIS, POST (Sr, S, 5-8, Seymour, Conn.) Led the Eagles to a 3-1 week by averaging 11.60 assists and 2.80 digs per game.

TERESA DEVINE, HOLY FAMILY (Sr, OH, 5-10, Philadelphia, Pa.) Twice tied her own school record with 23 kills in each match of a 1-1 week for the Tigers. Added 10 digs and six aces in a four-game win over Nyack.

NOTES

GCU: Sherry Keech recorded her 1,000th career kill on Saturday against Wilmington. The Lions are in the midst of a eight-match conference losing streak.

PU: Jen Jay had a career-high 37 digs versus Molloy. Tadj Williams is 26 kills away from 500 on the season.

USP: Emily Roth broke her own single-season school record for digs, currently with 512. She is 16 kills away from the USP season record of 387 set in 1998 by Breht Mieckowski. USP?s win against Immaculata on Saturday assured the Devils of their first winning season since 1996, when they were 13-12.

WC: Julia Atkins had 10 blocks, three aces, and hit .222 in Saturday?s win over Post. She added five blocks and hit .379 against Georgian Court that day. Bridget Lambert returned from injury to hit .692 versus Post. Angie Estep had 42 assists against Post and 27 versus GCU.
