CACC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

SHANA LEMON, BLOOMFIELD (Sr, S, 5-8, Glendale, Ariz.) Averaged 11.75 assists and 4.00 digs per game in a 2-0 week for the Deacons, who hit .196 in eight games. Also hit .346 with no errors on 26 attack attempts. Recorded 50 assists and 20 digs in a win over Nyack.

HONOR ROLL

ANGIE CASADO, NJIT (Fr, OH, 5-8, Brick, N.J.) Averaged 4.90 kills and 3.90 digs per game while hitting .236 in a 1-2 week for the Highlanders.

TADJ WILLIAMS, POST (So, OH, 5-9, Albany, N.Y.) Hit a career-high .630 in a win over Nyack. Averaged 5.14 kills per game and hit .296 in the Eagles? 2-0 week.

SHERRY KEECH, GEORGIAN COURT (Sr, MH, 6-3, Glencoe, Ontario) Recorded her 1,000th career kill in a win over USP. Hit .263 and averaged 5.38 kills and 1.63 blocks per game in the Lions? 1-1 week.

NOTES

GCU: Georgian Court doubled its win total for the second consecutive year.

GBC: Adrienne Melvin recorded her fourth triple-double of the season with 12 kills, 20 assists and 16 digs in a four-game win over Holy Family on Saturday afternoon.

NJIT: NJIT?s 12 wins are its most since 1990.

PU: Every single-season school record has been broken this season. Jen Giarratano and Angie Arcadi have played in all 136 games. Tadj Williams has 510 kills and Courtney McGinnis 1,458 assists. Giarratano extended her aces record to 89 and her digs record to 526. She needs 31 kills to become the school?s first player with 500 kills and 500 digs in the same season.
