Teikyo Post Volleyball Rallies For Win Over Concorida

WATERBURY, CT-The Teikyo Post University women's volleyball team improved to 4-2 on the season with a come from behind three games to two match victory over Concordia College Thursday night in the Drubner Center. The game scores were 17-30, 30-27, 18-30, 30-19, 15-9.

Post trailed 6-3 in the final game before mounting the comeback. Jennifer Giarratano (Seymour, CT) had three final game kills and a season-high 24 kills in the win. She also tallied 14 digs. Tadj Williams (Albany, NY) added 16 kills while Angie Arcadi (Massena, NY) led the team in digs with a season-high 18.

"The whole team played great and we are staring to come together as a unit," said coach Dawn Spellman. "We have to keep the momentum going as we head into the conference season."

The team had had 10 service aces, compared to Concordia's five.

Post will play Felican and Holy Family in a tri-match in the Drubner Center beginning at 1:00pm Saturday. Admission is free.
