Dominican Wins in Straight Games Over Nyack

Blauvelt, NY ? (09/09/04) Senior Stephanie Attinelly (Croton On Hudson, NY) led all attackers with 15 kills and six aces as Dominican(1-3) beat Nyack(0-3), 3-0.

Senior Crystal Helmke (Pearl River, NY) had seven aces and 17 digs to help lead the Lady Chargers to their first victory of the season and opening night victory of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

For the Lady Warriors, Wendy Paige (Harriman, NY) led the team with 10 kills and while Elisabeth Schlea (Berea, OH) contributed 13 digs in the loss.

The Lady Chargers are back in action on Saturday, September 11 as they will host the Lady Lions of Georgian Court University. Game time is set for 12pm at the Hennessy Center on the campus of Dominican College
