SOUTO GARNERS WOMEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD

NEW HAVEN, CT - Luisiana Souto of Goldey-Beacom College has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Sept. 28.

Souto, a 5-8 sophomore from Caracas, Venezuela, won her No. 1 singles and doubles matches against Chestnut Hill. She is currently 6-1 in singles for the season.

Honorable Mention

Natalie Grieci, Georgian Court (So., Pt. Pleasant, NJ) - Won her No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles matches against Caldwell.

CACC Notes

Georgian Court -  - The Lions, after losing six straight matches, have now won two in a row, both key-CACC victories.

Philadelphia - The Lady Rams have not lost a team match since September 4th, currently a six-match win streak. Sophomore #2 singles Daniela Rodriguez has been phenomenal this year, helping her squad to a 6-2 overall record along with sophomore teammate #1 singles Adriana Rodriguez. The Lady Rams are currently the only undefeated CACC squad besides Holy Family.
