All-CACC Women's Soccer Teams

Announced, Vincent Is Player Of Year

(All-CACC Teams)

NEWARK, N.J. (11/3/03) -- Sarah Vincent of Nyack College was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women?s Soccer Player of the Year and Holy Family University?s Joe Mikolajewski earned Coach of the Year honors in balloting released today. The voting was done by the league?s 11 head coaches.

Vincent, a senior forward, began last week as the CACC?s leading scorer with 1.93 points per game on 12 goals and five assists. Earlier this season, she became the Purple Pride?s all-time leading goal scorer with 67. Nyack is the No. 5 seed in the conference tournament, which begins today at campus sites. Vincent hails from Hoosick Falls, N.Y.

Mikolajewski guided Holy Family to an unbeaten, untied conference record for the second consecutive season, and the top seed in the playoffs. He is the CACC Coach of the Year for the fourth time, having also been honored in 1999, 2000, and 2001. He owns a career record of 104-34-4 (.746) in six seasons.

The CACC?s annual Team Sportsmanship Award went to Nyack, coached by Randy Bowman.
