Five CACC Women's Soccer Players Honored on NCAA All-East Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Lauren Riiff of Chestnut Hill, Chelsea Riedell of Philadelphia, Denisha Thomas of Georgian Court, Lindsay Fisher of Holy Family, and Dawn Curry of Holy Family all have earned a spot on the 2011 NCAA All-East Team. 

Lauren Riiff, Sr., Chestnut Hill, add another post season honor to her senior campaign as she previously was named to the Daktronics All-American Third Team, Daktronics All-East Region First Team and the CACC Player of the Year.

Chelsea Riedel, Jr., Philadelphia, was named to the NCAA All-East Third Team and was also named to the CACC First Team as a Defender for the Rams.

Denisha Thomas, Jr., Georgian Court, joins Riedell on the NCAA All-East Third Team as a Denfender and a member of the CACC First Team for her strong play this season. Thomas also landed her name on the Daktronics All-East Region Second Team.

Lindsay Fisher, Sr., Holy Family previously recored CACC First Team honors and most recently has been named to the NCAA Third Team joining her from Holy Family is Dawn Curry.

Dawn Curry, Sr., Holy Family, this post season has been named to the Daktronics All-East First Team and the NCAA Third Team.
