HOLY FAMILY'S TOLE NAMED WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER AND ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

NEW HAVEN, CT - Megan Tole of Holy Family University has been
named the Central Atlantic
Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Soccer Player and Rookie of
the Week after leading Holy Family to a 2-0 record last week.
Tole, a 5-5 freshman forward from Philadelphia, PA, registered five goals in a 2-0 week for the Tigers. She netted all of her team's goals in a 3-2 win over Wilmington and added two more scores in a 4-0 victory on the road at Nyack, including opening the scoring in the 20th minute.
Honorable Mention
Derienne Jacobowitz, Felician (Jr., F, 5-5, Staten Island, NY) - Tallied three goals and one assist in a 2-0 week for the Golden Falcons.
Lauren Riiff, Chestnut Hill (Jr., F, 5-2, Clementon, NJ) - Posted two goals and one assist in a 2-0 week for the Griffins.
Margaret Porter, Dominican (Jr., M, 5-3, Neptune, NJ) - Scored two goals in a 3-0 win over Caldwell.
Rachel Woodland, Concordia (Sr., M, 5-11, Surrey, England) - Notched the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over Bloomfield.
CACC Notes
Bloomfield - The Lady Deacons lost a pair of tough matches this week, falling 2-1 to Concordia and 3-1 to Wilmington. Rutherford and Laure Nunnery tallied the goals for the Lady Deacons for the week.
Caldwell - The Cougars lost both of their games last week, falling to Dominican and C.W. Post. Freshman goalkeeper Kristina Cabales made a career-high six saves against the regionally-ranked Pioneers. Caldwell has CACC matches at Felician and Wilmington and a non-conference game at Bridgeport this week.
Felician - Junior midfielder Anna Petersen is riding a five-game point-scoring streak. Junior forward D.J. Jacobowitz extended her own school record with her ninth career game-winning goal on Wednesday vs. Post. Sophomore F Nina D'Amato scored her first career goal in the closing seconds of Saturday's home win over Goldey-Beacom.
Georgian Court - Sophomore Shealyn Sullivan netted her first collegiate goal in Sunday's 2-1 double-overtime victory at Dominican.
Holy Family - The Holy Family women's soccer team extended its winning streak to four games after picked up a pair of wins last week. Megan Tole provided the offense against Wilmington with all three goals in a 3-2 win. Tole added two more goals as the Tigers defeated Nyack, 4-0. This week, Holy Family plays host to Chestnut Hill and visits Post.
Nyack - Sophomore Alisha Smith (Irvine, CA) netted the Warriors' only goal of the week in a 5-1 loss at Dowling.
Philadelphia - The Lady Rams continued their pattern of hanging with nationally-ranked teams, playing to a 0-0 double overtime tie vs. #16 nationally-ranked West Chester University- their third double OT tie with a national caliber team this season. This week, PhilaU stays on campus for two home matches- Tuesday (9/29) vs. Wilmington at 4:30 p.m. and a homecoming contest on Saturday (10/3) vs. Bloomfield at 12:00 p.m.
