Nyack, N.Y.- Nyack College Warriors' Athletic Director
Keith Davie has announced the hiring of Bill Findley as the new
head coach of the women's soccer program. "We are very
excited to add Bill to our staff," said Davie. "He will bring
great experience and character to the program and athletic
department."
Prior to his arrival at Nyack, Coach Findley most recently served
as the head women's soccer coach at Mississippi State University
during the 1995-1999 seasons. At MSU, Findley produced a 100%
graduation rate among his student-athletes.
Before coaching in the NCAA Division I ranks, Findley
spent four seasons as the head coach of the women's program at
William Carey College. Findley helped transform the program
to a top-5 team in the NAIA while being selected as district coach
of the year three times, and region coach of the year
twice. He also served as assistant athletic director at
the college.
Coach Findley's head coaching career began as coach of the U.S.
Armed Forces Soccer Program. Findley helped direct the Armed Forces
to three national championships and an appearance in the
Military World Cup Soccer Championships.
Coach Findley currently works as Director of Family Ministries at
Scarsdale Community Baptist Church in Scarsdale, NY.
Findley takes the helm of the Warriors' women's program after a
six-year stint by Dan Carillo. Coach Carillo will stay in the
athletic department, joining the men's soccer program as associate
head coach.
