NEW CASTLE, DE -- Wilmington University Director of Athletics, Frank Aiello, announced the resignation of Jaime Neave as head women's lacrosse coach, effective immediately.  Dave Bugda, the former head coach, was appointed to replace Neave.

Neave led the Lady Wildcats to a 7-11 record in her only season at the helm, including a 4-6 mark in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).  She led her team to the CACC playoffs, where they were eliminated in the semifinals.

Bugda spent four seasons as the head women's lacrosse coach prior to stepping away from the position last year.  During his tenure, Bugda was named the inaugural women's lacrosse coach, and was the only coach in the program's history.  He guided the team to a 34-19 record during his four seasons.  Bugda is currently an assistant coach for the women's soccer program at Wilmington.

"We are happy to have Dave return to lead the women's lacrosse program", stated Aiello.  "He did a tremendous job with the team in previous seasons, and I am confident he will continue to do the same in years to come."
