HORAN RESIGNS AS WOMEN'S LACROSSE COACH AT DOMINICAN

Orangeburg, NY-Dominican College Director of Athletics, Joe Clinton, has announced the resignation of Head Women's Lacrosse Coach, Erin Horan. A search for a new coach will begin immediately.
Horan was tabbed the program's first head coach in March of 2005. In her first season, the team competed as a club program, but became a NCAA Divsion II sport in 2006. Horan picked up her first two collegiate victories last season over Ramapo College of New Jersey and Lancaster Bible College.
"I have loved every minute in helping to create the Dominican College Women's Lacrosse Program," said Horan. "I will always be their biggest fan and wish them the best of luck in the future."
A graduate of Siena College, Horan majored in mathematics and minored in Philosophy. She was a four year member of the women's lacrosse team and was a key member of the Saint's defense. She served as the first team treasurer in 2003 and as team president in 2004. At Siena, Horan was a Presidential Scholar, a member of the Math Club and was named to the All-MAAC Academic Team, the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll and the Dean's List.
"We wish Erin all the best in the future," Clinton said. "I want to thank her for all of the hard work over the past three years."
