McGRATH GARNERS WOMEN'S LACROSSE PLAYER OF WEEK HONORS

NEW HAVEN, CT - Ryan McGrath of Georgian Court University has garnered Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week honors for the week ending Sunday, March 29. Aubree Williams of Dominican College was chosen Rookie of the Week.

McGrath, a sophomore attack from Manasquan, NJ, tallied 11 points in a 2-0 week for the Lions. She recorded three goals and three assists against Wilmington and added three goals and two helpers against Holy Family. She scored her six goals on just 10 shots.

Williams, a freshman midfielder from Great Meadows, NJ, notched 20 points in three games last week, including seven goals versus Chestnut Hill. She also had six goals and one assist at Wilmington.

Honorable Mention

Carley Glass, Chestnut Hill (Jr., M, Baltimore, MD) - Posted nine goals and four assists in a 1-1 week for the Griffins.

Michelle O'Hanlon, Philadelphia (So., M, Springfield, PA) - Recorded four goals and two assists in a victory over Chestnut Hill.

Gina Mansi, Holy Family (Fr., A, Washington Twp., NJ) - Notched eight points on the week, including a five-goal, one- assist performance versus Wilmington. Also scored two goals at Georgian Court.

CACC Notes

Chestnut Hill - Carley Glass powered the Griffins to a narrow 18-17 win over Dominican with a eight goals versus the Lady Chargers. She also provided two assists in addition to collecting four ground balls and five draw controls. Against Philadelphia, she provided a goal and two assists along with two ground balls, five draws, and four caused turnovers. She leads the Griffins in points (55), assists (22), draws (30), and caused turnovers (13).

Georgian Court - Four Lions tallied hat tricks in Thursday's 19-5 victory over Wilmington University (Devyn Flesch, Ryan McGrath, Natalie Bermudez and Kara Sanford).

Holy Family - Holy Family dropped a pair of conference games last week and is now 0-7 overall and 0-3 in the CACC. Attack Gina Mansi recorded a season-best five goals and six points in a 23-13 loss to Wilmington (Del.) on Tuesday. Midfielder Katherine Podlinski added four goals. On Saturday, Mansi scored two goals in a 20-4 loss to Georgian Court. Mansi is leading the team with 17 goals this season. Attack Jenn James is second with 14 goals. Podlinski is leading the team with 17 ground balls and 13 draw controls. This week, Holy Family visits Philadelphia on Monday and hosts Dominican on Thursday.

Philadelphia - The Lady Rams got another "W" in league play this week in a 25-7 victory over Chestnut Hill College. Five players scored three or more goals including Michelle O'Hanlon, Taylor Peltzer, Kelly Dallas, Jennifer Sica and Sarah Davis. PhilaU hosts game vs. Holy Family (3/30) and then hosts Dominican (4/4) at 1:00 p.m.
