NEW HAVEN, Conn. (March 23, 2012)  Caldwell College women's basketball standouts Jeanette Anderson (Lynn, Mass.) and Torey Jones (Providence, R.I.) have been selected to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) All-Star Team, which was announced Thursday.

Anderson was honored after previously being honored by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) as a first-team All-CACC choice.  She helped lead the Cougars to a 17-11 overall record, a second-place finish in the CACC North Division and an appearance in the CACC Tournament semifinals.  The sophomore post player ranked fifth among conference scoring leaders at 15.8 ppg and also checked in fourth among CACC leaders in rebounds with an average of 9.9 per contest.  She also notched a .520 (183-of-252) field goal percentage, fourth-best among CACC players.

Jones was also previously recognized as an All-CACC First Team selection after a junior season that saw her record a 15.6 ppg scoring average, which ranked seventh on the conference leaderboard.  She was also one of the top 3-point threats in the CACC as she dropped 56 treys on the season (3rd in CACC).
