PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Holy Family University forward Catherine Carr (jr. Bernardsville, N.J./Bernards) was named to the Women's Division II Bulletin Pre-Season Super 16.  The Super 16 is comprised of the top two players, as selected by the Women's Division II Bulletin, in each of NCAA's eight regions.

Last season, Carr was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Year. Carr also was tabbed as a Women's Division II Bulletin All-America third team and ECAC Division II All-Star first team. She recorded 15.3 points per game (ppg), 5.9 rebounds per game (rpg), 69 assists, 29 steals and 15 blocks. Carr finished eighth in the CACC in scoring and 11th in assist to turnover ratio (1.08).

As a freshman, Carr was the CACC and ECAC Rookie of the Year. She was selected as an ECAC second team all-star.

Holy Family begins its 2009-2010 campaign on Sunday, November 15 at Bentley College at 2 p.m.
