HOLY FAMILY RISES TO 13TH IN USATODAY/ESPN WOMEN'S HOOPS POLL

PHILADELPHIA, PA ? The Holy Family University women's basketball team continues its ascent in the USA Today/ESPN women's basketball national poll. The Tigers are now 13th in the nation in the poll released on Tuesday afternoon.

The Tigers moved up for the fourth consecutive week. This time, the team climbed three spots from the 16th position. Holy Family won its only game of the past week, 66-49, over NYIT. The Tigers are the only undefeated team in the Northeast Region.

Holy Family is led in scoring by freshman forward Catherine Carr with an average of 17.6 points per-game. She is fifth in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) in that category. Sophomore center Christine McCollum is the team's top rebounder with 8.7 rebounds per-game. Her average is eighth best in the conference. Senior guard Kelly Killion is adding 4.3 assists per game and sits third in the CACC.

Holy Family is 7-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play. The Tigers will host region opponent, University of New Haven, on Friday, December 21 at 6 p.m.
