HOLY FAMILY WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CLIMBS TO FOURTH IN NATIONAL POLL

women's basketball team moved up two spots to fourth in the USA

Today/ESPN Coaches Poll that was released on Tuesday afternoon.

Holy Family is 26-0 after picking up two wins last week. On Tuesday,

February 19, the Tigers defeated Chestnut Hill, 68-40. Holy Family

followed that up with a 57-34 win at Nyack on Saturday, February 23.

The Tigers are only one of eight teams in all of college basketball

that are still undefeated. Holy Family is also number one in the NCAA

Northeast Regional Rankings. In the upcoming Central Atlantic Collegiate

Conference (CACC) Championship Tournament, Holy Family has home-court

advantage.

Nationally, Holy Family is first in field goal percentage defense

(.321), second in scoring defense (50.0) and turnovers per game (12.9),

fifth in assist/turnover ratio (1.25), seventh in scoring margin (+19.6)

and 10th in rebounding margin (+8.3).

Holy Family wraps up the regular season on Wednesday, February 27 with

a home game against Georgian Court at 7 p.m. Then on Saturday, Holy

Family will host the University of the Sciences in the first round of

the CACC Championship Tournament at 2 p.m.
