Junior forward Mackenzie Lynch recorded her third double-double of the season with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Felician - Felician snapped a 16-game home losing streak with Saturday's win over Mercy. Transfer Phylicia Daniels grabbed a team season high 15 rebounds in 23 minutes in that game. Daniels was making her first start of the year.
Holy Family - Holy Family remained perfect after defeating NYIT, 66-49, on Saturday. Forward Catherine Carr had 25 points, five rebounds and two steals. She has led the team in scoring four times in seven games. Center Christine McCollum recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 boards. Philadelphia - The Lady Rams host Wilmington in CACC play this Friday, December 21, 2007 at the Gallagher Center at 5:00 p.m. On Saturday, December 22, Philadelphia hosts the inaugural Quaker City Tournament featuring a quadruple-header of matchups pitting top girls' high-school teams in the Philadelphia area. Among competing squads, several have ties to the Lady Rams program, including senior forward Ashley Webster's father Keith, who is head coach of the Norristown High School girls' team; while current Lady Rams assistant Jim Munn is the former head coach at Cardinal Dougherty. Speaking of Webster, she's now in eighth place all-time in Lady Rams' history with 194 steals, having just passed assistant coach Melissa (Kelly) Storm, who had 193 from 1998-2002. Webster is also now tied for sixth place in blocked shots in school history with Kelly Lorenz who had 77 from 1990-'94. On the rebounds list, Webster's 708 at the moment place her eighth in that category, just ahead of former great Tammy Greene who grabbed 706 boards from 1990-?94.
