HOLY FAMILY CONTINUES TO TOP NCAA DIVISION II NORTHEAST REGION WOMEN'S BASKETBALL POLL

NEW HAVEN, CT - The Holy Family University women's basketball team continues to top the NCAA Division II Northeast Region Basketball Poll as of March 5. Two other Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference teams were included in the poll, as Dominican College is seventh and Wilmington University is ninth.

Holy Family, the fourth-ranked team nationally, is currently 29-0 overall and aiming for its second consecutive CACC Tournament Championship, which it will defend this Saturday, March 8, against Dominican. The Tigers defeated USP in the opening round of the CACC Tournament and upended Bloomfield College in the semifinals.

Dominican enters the CACC Championship with a 22-7 record after defeating Nyack College in the opening round and Wilmington in the semifinals. Wilmington fell to 20-9 with the loss.
