HOLY FAMILY CONTINUES TO TOP WOMEN'S BASKETBALL REGIONAL RANKINGS

NEW HAVEN, CT-The Holy Family University and Dominican College women's basketball teams are ranked according to the February 13 edition of the NCAA Division II Northeast Region Women's Basketball Poll. Holy Family, which is currently ranked seventh in the country, stands first in the poll, while Dominican is ninth.

Holy Family currently sports a perfect 22-0 overall record and a 13-0 mark in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). The Tigers are first in the poll for the third consecutive week after road wins over Georgian Court and Philadelphia last week. The Tigers continue to be led in scoring by freshman forward Catherine Carr, who tosses in 16.1 points per-game, which ranks fourth in the CACC. Senior point guard Kelly Killion stands seventh in the CACC with 13.7 points per-game and was named the CACC Player of the Week on Monday. Killion leads the CACC with a 2.89 assist:turnover ratio and she ranks second with 4.59 assists per-game.

Dominican continues to lead the CACC's North Division with an 11-2 record, along with a 17-6 overall mark. Sophomore Adele Laskowski lead the Chargers with 12.6 ppg, while junior Althea Chambers averages 12.4 ppg. Senior guard Dana Rotio leads the CACC with 3.48 steals per-game.
