HOLY FAMILY CLIMBS TO 12TH IN LATEST USA TODAY/ESPN COACHES' POLL

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Holy Family University Women's Basketball team is currently ranked 12th in the latest USA Today/ESPN Division II Coaches' Poll which was released Tuesday afternoon.

The Tigers continue to climb in the poll, and they moved up two spots from their previous week ranking of 14th. The Tigers are the lone Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference team ranked in the poll, and are the second-highest Northeast Region team ranked.

Currently sporting a 21-2 overall record, the Tigers are a perfect 18-0 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference and have clinched the top-seed in the upcoming conference playoffs. The Tigers are riding a 44-game regular season conference winning streak.

Four of the Tigers' five starters average double figures in scoring, with junior point guard Kelly Killion (Pennsauken, NJ/Camden Catholic) leading the way with 12.8 points per game. Senior center Megan Bauer (Norwood, PA/Ridley) averages 12.0 points per game, and a team-high nine rebounds per game.

The Tigers are also ranked fifth out of ten teams in the Northeast Region in the latest NCAA Division II Regional Poll which was released Wednesday afternoon.

Holy Family will host Goldey-Beacom on Thursday evening.
