GEORGIAN COURT TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL GIRLS AND WOMEN IN SPORTS DAY

Lakewood, NJ ? The Georgian Court University Department of Athletics will be celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day on Monday, February 5th. The Lions' Basketball team will be hosting Nyack College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match at 7 p.m. Prior to tip-off, a reception will be held for all young girls and women in attendance to meet Georgian Court's student-athletes. Throughout the basketball game special giveaways will be handed out and half-time activities will be held. Following the game, the basketball team will be available to meet and participate in games.

National Girls and Women in Sports Day is an annual event honoring the achievements and encouraging participation of girls and women in sports. The event is free of charge. Join GCU and Athletics as they celebrate this special day! For more information please call (732) 987-2683.
