INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Holy Family University Women’s Basketball team continues to climb the national ladder, as the Tigers are now ranked 14th according to the latest USA Today/ESPN Top 25 Coaches Poll released Tuesday afternoon.

The Tigers climbed up one spot from their previous ranking last week of 15th. Holy Family currently sports a 19-2 overall record and a perfect 16-0 mark in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

The Tigers, who received 312 points in the poll, are the second highest ranked team from the Northeast Region in the poll. Southern Connecticut State, who is the region’'s top team, is currently ranked fourth.

Holy Family is led by point guard Kelly Killion (Jr./Pennsauken, NJ/Camden Catholic) who is averaging 12.8 points per game. Starting center Megan Bauer (Sr./Norwood, PA/Ridley) is averaging 11.6 points per game and a team-high 8.9 rebounds per contest.

As of the last statistical report, the Tigers are still leading all of Division II in field-goal percentage defense. Opponents are shooting just 30.4 percent from the field in contests against Holy Family. The Tigers average margin of victory, 22.3 points, is currently third nationally and their points allowed per-game average of 50.6 is seventh nationally.

Holy Family has clinched a spot in the upcoming CACC playoffs, and can clinch the top seed with two wins this week.
