HOLY FAMILY UNIVERSITY WOMEN RANKED 10TH IN NATION AND FIFTH IN NORTHEAST REGION

February 28, 2007

NEW HAVEN, CT - The Holy Family University women's basketball team is ranked 10th nationally and fifth in the Northeast Region according to this week's respective polls. The Tigers are the top seed for this week's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament.

The Tigers remained 10th according to the latest USA Today/ESPN Division II Top-25 Poll. They also stayed in the fifth spot in the Northeast Region poll. They are the only CACC team ranked in either poll.

Holy Family enters the CACC Tournament with a 25-2 overall record and a perfect 22-0 mark in conference play. The Tigers host eighth-seeded Post University Wednesday night in a quarterfinal game at the Campus Center. All quarterfinal contests will tip at 7:30 pm.
