FOUR CACC WOMEN LAND ON ALL-MET DIVISION II BASKETBALL TEAM

NEW HAVEN, CT ? Four women's basketball players from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) were named to the All-Met Division II Women's Basketball team today. Junior guard Jackie Tracey of Dominican and junior guard Kelly Crowe of NJIT were named to the first team, while sophomore forward Danielle Norman of Felician and senior center Ashley Rossi of Dominican were both second team choices.

The team was announced by the National Invitation Tournament and Met Basketball Writers Association.

Tracey served as the main ball-handler for the Chargers and was a third team All-CACC selection. She finished the season with an average of 11.0 points per-game and led the CACC with 5.09 assists per-game. In addition, she stood seventh in the league with 2.09 steals per-game.

Crowe averaged 15.0 ppg to rank ninth in the CACC and she also ranked fourth in steals with 2.48 per-game. Crowe was also a third team All-Conference pick.

Norman finished the season among the top-five in the CACC in scoring and rebounding with averages of 17.0 ppg and 9.5 rpg. She was a third team All-CACC performer and ranked second in the league in field-goal percentage (54.8) and sixth in blocked shots (1.12).

Rossi ranked fifth in the conference with a 51.6 field-goal percentage and she was third with 1.62 blocks per-contest. Rossi ranked fourth on her team with 10.0 ppg for the season and started 30 of her team's 32 games.
