GEORGIAN COURT SOFTBALL RANKED IN NFCA POLL FOR FIRST TIME

NEW HAVEN, CT-For the first time since reclassifying to NCAA Division II, the Georgian Court University softball team is ranked according to the NFCA Division II Top 25 poll, which was released on March 26. The Lions are currently ranked 25th.

The Lions, who won the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament Championship last season, is currently 11-5 this season and have won six of their last eight games. Senior catcher Heather Walker was named the CACC Player of the Week on Monday, March 24.
