CALDWELL, N.J. - Caldwell College rising senior Katie Jackson (Pennsville, NJ/Pennsville) was chosen as an Eastern College Athletic Conference Division II Softball All-Star, the organization announced. Jackson, who earned ECAC Player of the Week honors on May 10, was selected to the 12-player team based on voting by the Northeast Region coaches.

Jackson earned first-team all-Northeast Region and all-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference accolades for the third straight year after batting a team-best .415 with six home runs and 37 runs batted in this past spring. She led the Cougars to their second straight CACC Tournament title, batting .667 (8-for-12) with a homer and five RBI in five games to earn a spot on the all-Tournament team. Jackson also was named to the NCAA Northeast Region all-Tournament team as Caldwell College made their second consecutive appearance in the regional tourney.

The Cougars, coached by Dean Johnson, went 40-11 this past spring and have won a total of 85 games over the past two seasons.
