POST FALLS TO BRIDGEPOST IN ECAC SOFTBALL FINALS

Bridgeport, CT-The Post University softball team lost a pair of games to the University of Bridgeport in the Eastern College Athletic Conference best two of three finals Friday.

In the opener, a 4-2 UB triumph, Post led 2-1 heading to the bottom of the seventh. UB received a walk-off homer to end the game. For the Eagles, Erin McKenna (Beverly, MA) recorded two hits.

In the nightcap, a 7-5 Purple Knight win, UB scored three runs in the top of the seventh to break open a 4-4 game. Megan Pappas had two hits. She ended the season with a .399 average.

Post ends the year at 23-22.
