Louisville, Ky. (May 17, 2012) – The No. 14 ranked Concordia men's tennis team battled the Grand Canyon University Antelopes in its NCAA Round of 16 match on Thursday morning. The Clippers held a slight lead at 4-3 but the Antelopes finished strong in the last two matches for a 5-4 comeback victory as Concordia came just short of reaching the NCAA Quarterfinals for the fourth consecutive season.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Concordia's Daniele Piludu (Cagliari, Italy) was honored as the 2012 CACC Men's Tennis Player of the Year, in a voting by the league's head coaches. Concordia teammate Mark Mozer (Brest, Belarus) also was recognized as the 2012 CACC Men's Tennis Rookie of the Year, while Concordia head coach Neil Tarangioli was tabbed as the CACC Coach of the Year.
