Concordia Unanimous Pick For Third Straight Year

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Concordia College for the third straight year has been picked to win the 2012 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Tennis Regular-Season Championship according to the voting conducted by the seven conference head coaches. 

Concordia since joining the conference during the 2009-10 season has yet to lose a match going 18-0 in conference play and a 51-7 overall. Key returners for the Clippers are 2011 All-CACC First Team members Senior Geza Bazula, Sophomore David Tisserand and Rookie of the Year Daniele Piludu. Last year's Skor Coach of the Year Neil Tarangioli will be back for his 32nd year. The Clippers finished the season in the NCAA Semi-Finals against Barry losing 5-2.

Philadelphia ranked second in the pre-season poll joined Concordia and USciences in the NCAA Division II Tournament last year. Returning for the Rams will be Senior Adrian Torroella-Cruz and Junior Kyle Burke. Both were members of the All-Conference Second Team. 

The Men's Tennis Championship will be held April 21 and 22 at Concordia College.
