PHILADELPHIA, PA (April 25, 2009) - Freshman Adrian Torroella-Cruz of Philadelphia University won both the singles championship and joined Manoli Sguros to take the doubles crown at the inaugural Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Tennis Individual Tournament Saturday afternoon at Chestnut Hill College. Torroella-Cruz and Sgouros earned their way to the doubles championship with victories over Chestnut Hill's Julius Twyman and Steve Hlava 8-1 in round one, and then handled Ricardo Martins and Paul Caceres from USP 8-5. Hutter and McAvoy arrived at the title match with wins over Francisco Garcia and Billy Fine of USP (8-5) and Bloomfield's Andres DeCastro and Jolsten Wattley (8-1) in round two.
