THREE CACC MEN'S SOCCER TEAMS RANKED IN EAST REGION

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Sept. 8, 2011) – Three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) men's soccer teams are ranked in the East Region according to the most recent National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll. Post University, Caldwell College and Nyack College are ranked eighth, ninth and 10th, respectively.

Post is 1-0-2 this season, which includes a 2-2 double-overtime tie against Merrimack College, which is the seventh-ranked team in this week's poll. The Eagles played Le Moyne College to a scoreless draw Wednesday afternoon. Post will play its first conference game of the season Saturday at Municipal Stadium against Felician.

Caldwell opened the season with a pair of shutout wins over Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) schools, Concord and East Stroudsburg. Sophomore Mosiah Whyte tallied four of his team's five goals, including both goals in a 2-0 win over ESU. The Cougars will host another PSAC school today, Bloomsburg, before opening conference play at Holy Family University Saturday.

Nyack is currently 3-0 after a 2-1 triumph over Molloy College Wednesday afternoon. The Warriors also earned a pair of wins over Northeast-10 schools, Saint Rose and Saint Michael's. Sophomore Felix Horn netted two goals against Saint Michael's and added the winning goal in the Molloy win. The Warriors open conference play Saturday at Chestnut Hill College.
