POST'S JOHNSON NAMED MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK

NEW HAVEN, CT - Post University's Maurice Johnson has been named
the Central Atlantic
Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Soccer Player of the Week for
the week ending Sunday, Oct. 25. David Lo Bue of Felician College
was tabbed Rookie of the Week.
Johnson, a 6-0 senior forward from Kingston, Jamaica, led Post to a 2-0 week with a total of 11 points behind four goals and three assists. He netted three scores in a home victory over Chestnut Hill College and recorded one goal and two assists in a road non-conference triumph at UMass-Lowell.
Lo Bue, a 5-8 freshman goalkeeper from Elmwood Park, NJ, went 1-1 last week for the Golden Falcons and allowed only two goals to go with 12 saves. He came within five minutes of taking #14 Wilmington to overtime after earning six saves against the Wildcats.
Honorable Mention
Seydou Ba, Holy Family (Jr., F, 6-0, Mauritania) - Registered eight points in a 2-0 week with three goals and two assists.
Evans Tageo, Bloomfield (Sr., F, 6-2, Newark, NJ) - Netted two goals and one assist in a 1-1 week, scoring twice in a win over Caldwell.
Sargbah Tarpeh, Wilmington (Sr., F, 5-11, Philadelphia, PA) - Posted two goals and one assist in a 3-0 week for the Wildcats.
Ian Martin, Philadelphia (So., F/M, 5-11, Beachwood, NJ) - Scored a hat trick in a victory over Concordia.
CACC Notes
Bloomfield - The Deacons went 1-1 on the week, earning a crucial victory over rival Caldwell by a 4-1 margin. Senior forward Evans Tageo was the difference for Bloomfield, notching two goals in the match.
Caldwell - The Cougars played just once last week, a 4-1 loss to
Bloomfield at home. Freshman forward Facundo Zalazar tallied his
team-leading sixth goal of the season in the loss. The game against
Goldey-Beacom scheduled for Saturday was postponed due to rain and
will be played on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Caldwell. The cougars also
play at Dominican on Thursday and at Holy Family on Saturday.
Felician - Freshman GK David Lo Bue recorded his first career shutout in Wednesday's 1-0 road win at Concordia.
Holy Family - Holy Family went 2-0-0 in CACC play last week, picking up wins against Goldey-Beacom (3-1) and Concordia (N.Y.) (5-2). Forward Seydou Ba led the Tiger offense with three goals and two assists in the contests. The team is now 6-3-1 in CACC play and has secured a spot in the CACC Championship Tournament. Overall, Holy Family is 10-5-1. It is the fourth 10-win season under fifth year head coach Mike Bradby. Holy Family closes out the regular season on Saturday, October 31 with a make-up contest against Caldwell.
Philadelphia - The Rams went 2-1 on the week and have just two
more contests before closing out the regular season. This week they
travel to West Chester (10/28) for a 5:30 p.m. match before hosting
their Senior Day on Halloween (10/31) vs. Queens at 1:00 p.m.
