SEVEN CACC MEN'S SOCCER PLAYERS CLAIM ALL-REGION HONORS FROM NSCAA

NEW HAVEN, CT - Seven Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Soccer players have claimed National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-East Region honors in an annoucement made today. Sargbah Tarpeh of Wilmington University and Joe Wright of Dominican College were first team selections.
In addition to Tarpeh, three other Wildcats were selected to the team, including second team picks, defender Dave Dease and midfielder Fatoma Turay and third team goalkeeper Duhan Malali. Dominican junior defender Clifton Huxtable was a third team pick along with Holy Family University junior forward Seydou Ba.
Tarpeh has claimed numerous awards for his play in 2009,
including CACC Player of the Year,
Daktronics East Region Player of the Year, ECAC Offensive Player
of the Year and Daktronics All-America and All-Region First
Team accolades.
Turay and Dease were honored by Daktronics as honorable mention All-Americans and first team All-Region selections. Huxtable and Wright were first team All-Conference picks and Daktronics second team All-Region choices. Ba was named to the All-Conference and Daktronics All-Region second teams, respectively.
