CACC Notes

Caldwell - The Cougars clinched their first CACC regular-season title since 1993 with Wednesday's 4-2 victory over Nyack. The win gave Caldwell an 8-1-1 mark in the conference and set the program record for CACC victories in a season. Senior forward Luis Sartorio tallied two goals and an assist, while classmate Chad Bennett notched his team-leading 13th goal and added an assist in their final home game of their careers. The Cougars are the top seed in the CACC Tournament and will play either Post or Wilmington on Thursday, Nov. 6 in the semifinals. This is the sixth straight year that Caldwell has advanced to the semifinals of the CACC Tournament.

Chestnut Hill - Junior defender Mike Zachwieja recorded his first career points with two goals in a loss to Holy Family University.

Felician - The Golden Falcons finished the season with three consecutive wins to double their 2007 victory total. They went 2-1-1 this season against Northeast-10 Conference opponents. Felician's win at Dominican on Oct. 28 snapped the Chargers' 26-match CACC regular-season unbeaten streak dating back to 2004, and is believed to be the program's first triumph over a nationally-ranked NCAA team since joining the NCAA in 2002.

Philadelphia - The Rams did not lose this week, netting five goals combined. The team ends its season riding a three-game CACC winning streak.
