NYACK, NY - Former Nyack College men's soccer stand-out Seth
Galloway (Penang, Malaysia) signed an impressive contract with
S-League team Balestier Khalsa on January 6, 2009. Seth will be
playing center back for the team and will begin training
immediately.
The Nyack College Athletic Department and community are extremely proud of Seth, but no one is more proud than his former head coach and Nyack Athletic Director, Keith Davie. Davie said, "This was Seth's dream from when he was a kid, and I am just ecstatic that it has come true for him. He could have chosen a lot of schools, but he came to us and made us a better program from the second he stepped onto the field. I wish him all the best."
The contract calls for Seth to be in Singapore and begin physical testing including a beep test where he must achieve a 13.1 . As usual, Seth plans on setting the record for the beep test for the league and with his physical prowess he may just do it. The following is the detail of Seth and his career.

Quick Take:
Seth is known as a very physical and strong player that defends with great confidence and speed. His athleticism has proven to be an advantage when marking some of the best goal scorers. Standing at 6' 2'' (1.88m), his height makes him a dominant force in the air when defending corner kicks and winning headers during the flow of play. His physical presence and quickness defends well against strong and pacey strikers. His unparalleled talent in the air makes him an offensive threat on corners kicks. When playing a defensive wing position, his speed makes him an offensive threat for crosses. His superior feel for the game to establish rhythm, ball-distribution skills and composure make him a key impact player.
