FELICIAN SIGNS MIDFIELDERS AZZATO AND CANIDO

August 13, 2008

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Recent high-school graduate Mike Azzato of Staten Island, N.Y., signed a national letter of intent for men’s soccer with Felician College during the recently-concluded NCAA signing period, Felician head coach Patrick Snyder announced today. Additionally, Felician freshman Carlos Canido of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, inked an athletic financial aid agreement to play for the Golden Falcons. [more]

WILMINGTON LANDS IN TOP SPOT IN CACC MEN'S SOCCER PRESEASON POLL

August 12, 2008

NEW HAVEN, CT – Wilmington University is the preseason favorite to win the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men’s Soccer regular-season championship, according to preseason balloting released today. The Wildcats received 113 points and four first-place votes to top the poll. Dominican College garnered the most first-place votes with five, but finished second with 107 total points. Four schools picked up at least one first-place nod in voting that was conducted by the 11 head coaches in the league. [more]

CALDWELL'S HARRIOTT AND USP'S AIFUWA NAMED CACC SCHOLAR-ATHLETES OF THE YEAR

NEW HAVEN, CT - Nicholas Harriott of Caldwell College and Joy Aifuwa of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia have been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Scholar-Athletes of the Year in an announcement made by Commissioner Dan Mara. Both student-athletes were seniors this past fall. Harriott was a member of the Cougar men’s soccer team and Aifuwa ran cross country for the Devils. [more]
