NBA STAR RYAN GOMES DONATES TO POST UNIVERSITY

WATERBURY, Conn. – NBA Star Ryan Gomes of the Minnesota Timberwolves visited Post University on July 1 to donate an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). Gomes, a Waterbury native and graduate of Wilby High School, formed a foundation called Hoops for Heart Health to raise awareness of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in student-athletes. [more]

PHILADELPHIA, PA- Philadelphia University is set to host the Reebok All-American Camp for the third year in a row this summer. The camp, held July 8th-10th, will feature some of the most talented men’s high school basketball players in the country and will serve as a hotbed of recruiting talent for college coaches including Connecticut’s Jim Calhoun, Louisville’s Rick Pitino and North Carolina’s Roy Williams.
