NEW HAVEN, Conn. (March 23, 2012) – Dominican College men's basketball players Cory Quimby (Otisville, N.Y.) and Leon Porter (Laurel, Md.) were each honored as members of the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II Men's Basketball All-Star Teams, which were announced Thursday.

Quimby was a first-team ECAC All-Star choice after previously being recognized as the Central Atlantic Athletic Conference (CACC) Co-Player of the Year.  He guided the Chargers to a 19-9 overall record and a second-place finish in the CACC North Division.  The 6-6 post player ranked third among CACC scoring leaders at 18.1 points per game while adding 11.4 rebounds per contest, which also ranked second among NCAA national leaders.

Porter was a second-team ECAC All-Star selection after a season which saw him average 17.3 points per game (2nd in CACC), dish out 143 assists (4th in CACC) and a .389 (60-of-148) which ranked seventh among conference leaders.
