Caldwell plays three CACC games this week: at Chestnut Hill on Monday and home against Concordia Thursday and Goldey-Beacom on Saturday.
Nyack - The Warriors have a big week as they host Dominican on Tuesday, January 19, then head to Bloomfield Thursday, January 21. Nyack closes the week at home versus Wilmington on Saturday, January 23.
Philadelphia - The Rams got back on track this week, winning in double-overtime 69-59 in front of a notoriously tough crowd at Lincoln University. The squad was led by 21 points from Russell Frederick, but the difference-maker was senior Mike Yocum's 15 boards, along with nine points, and two steals and blocks. Freshman Jimmy Connolly introduced himself to the Lion faithful, scoring a career-high nine points (66% from beyond the arc). It's CACC all the way this week for the Rams, hosting Holy Family at 8 p.m. on Thursday (1/21) and heading to Dominican (1/23) for a 3 p.m. start.
Post - After playing only one game last week against Franklin Pierce, the Eagles prepare for a three game week. The first is a road game against Concordia Tuesday night. Thursday night, the Eagles host Bridgeport in a non-conference game before wrapping up the week at home against Chestnut Hill.
USP - Adewale Adefemi (Chesilhurst, N.J.) and Will Kernan
(Medford, N.J.) each recorded double-doubles in Saturday's 66-50
win over Washington Adventist University. Adefemi had 20 points and
12 rebounds while Kernan added 14 points and 11 rebounds. For
Adefemi it is his fifth double-double of the season while Kernan
earned the first of his career. After holding three of their last
four opponents to 50 or less points, the men's basketball team is
now third in the CACC in scoring defense, giving up just 64.2
points per game. USP's win over Washington Adventist was its second
consecutive road win as well as its second consecutive win.
